I spent too much time on the matte surface rendering (trying to define the form...which gave me a very hard time ><) so the final color rendering doesn't have enought texture.... the colored one still looks pretty much like matte surface (or plastic look)....

Hey Guys, Hope everything is going well in your classes.

I clumped Up last weeks and this weeks Homework for Viscom3. I still have 2 more projects to upload, If all goes well It will be up by this week. The mask was done for Id Pross, Figure for Costume Design, and the Environment "work in progress" is a personal project. Their are some highlights here and their, I will dull it down when it comes to painting it back on for the class.

You've seen this if you're in Frido's class. It's my Halloween mask, based on drawings of sea monsters in antique maps. I am also working on an aircraft--I'll try to post it later today or tomorrow.

Arron's HW - Week 8

I wasn't able to post my stuff last week because I got my invite this week, so here is my stuff from last week

Then my stuff for this week. I jumped ahead a little and tried adding some texture but I'm sure Scott will show us how to do it much better. I can't wait to learn to do those cool shiny surfaces really good. Any suggestions would be great! thanks guys,


Here's my mask in it's first incarnation. The face is getting a bit flat and the cut lines up top aren't really working, but a revision based on some great suggestions from Arron should be up sometime later today as I am still making corrections. Also, do you have any advice about rendering hair/fur Scott?
